The traditional Conference of young scientists and specialists of the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics was held from November 30 to December 2

Participants applied for Frank and Shapiro scholarships, AYSS grants as well as presented reports on AYSS grants received last year. Thanks to the online format, a record number of FLNP employees took part in the conference, 54 reports were presented in all sections.

In accordance with the JINR Order (clause 2) "On the Conduct of a Competition for Grants for Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR for 2022", the dates for the conference are November 30, December 1 and December 2. The conference will start at 10:00.

Resumption of work of IBR-2 on October 11

Due to a time delay in the decision of Rostekhnadzor to resume the operation of the IBR-2 unit, the 6th cycle is cancelled. In this regard, the duration of the 7th cycle of operation of the IBR-2 facility for physical experiments was set from October 11 to October 30, 2021 at an average power of 1.5 MW.
