On December 12, 2025, the International Conference on Cooperation in Science and Technology was held in Moscow at the Atom Pavilion at VDNKh

The conference aims to develop multilateral cooperation in science and technology, support youth initiatives, and promote promising developments in the Eurasian region.

As part of the 5th Congress of Young Scientists held at the Sirius Federal University, six research projects out of 60 applications were selected for the conference finals. A collective team from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) and the Kurchatov Institute Research Center presented the strategic project "Megascience: The Foundation of Technological Leadership." The presentation of the project was prepared and attended by employees of the Laboratory of Neutron Physics: Andrey Tamonov, Bagdaulet Mukhametuly, Meir Yerdauletov, Kuanysh Nazarov, Bulat Bakirov, and Bekhzodzhon Abdurakhimov.

During the conference, young scientists from the Republic of Kazakhstan also presented their research to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, Dauren Abayev. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed high praise for the work of Kazakhstani scientists in international projects and personally thanked them for their assistance, emphasizing the importance of their work in strengthening the country's scientific and technological standing.
