JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov made a congratulatory speech, after which he solemnly awarded JINR Certificates of Honor to the veterans of the Institute. Congratulations were also made by the honored guests of the seminar - the representative of JSC NIKIET Natalya Romanova and the representative of the Russian Federal Nuclear Centre - VNIITF Dmitry Khmelevsky.

Evgeny Shabalin spoke about key events in the history of the reactor and his memories of working on IBR-2. A film dedicated to the construction, development and future of the reactor was presented to the guests. Topical reports were made by Head of the Department for Neutron Investigations of Condensed Matter FLNP JINR Denis Kozlenko and Head of the Sector of Neutron Activation Analysis and Applied Research FLNP JINR Inga Zinkovskaya.
