Vladimir Nazarov came to the newly established FLNP in 1957 and worked until his death, actively participating in the development of the IBR-30 reactor and afterwards, of the IBR-2 reactor. Under him, the REGATA complex for the automation of neutron activation analysis was developed.

Vladimir Nazarov was remembered for his charisma, dedication, enthusiasm and inquisitive mind. Memories of such a remarkable person unite, preserve the spirit of the Laboratory, its traditions and speak of the relationship between generations.
