Vyacheslav Vasilievich Sumin

Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Sumin, a true physicist-enthusiast, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, a well-known specialist in the field of neutron scattering and materials science, has passed away.
During his work, Vyacheslav Vasilievich published several dozen scientific papers, his research was twice awarded JINR prizes. In 2006, V.V. Sumin was awarded the departmental distinction for his work “Veteran of Nuclear Energy and Industry.”

We, his colleagues and friends, will remember Vyacheslav Vasilievich as a bright and accomplished person who made a significant contribution to neutron research of condensed matter at FLNP JINR.
