On 5 April, the JINR Candidates and Doctors of Sciences having defended their PhD theses in the dissertation councils of BLTP, FLNP and DLNP were awarded Diplomas in the JINR International Conference Centre. This time, for the first time, Maxim Podlesnyy, an employee of the Department of Spectrometers Complex of FLNP, won a well-deserved award. For his supervisor Viktor Bodnarchuk, it was also his first debut as a supervisor of a PhD thesis. We congratulate Maxim Podlesnyy on his degree of Cand. Sc. and wish him further creative and scientific growth. We hope that Viktor Bodnarchuk will soon establish his own scientific school and start by defending PhD thesis.
