FLNP Directorate regrets to announce that on 1 January, 2024, a former FLNP staff member Boris Ananiev died

Boris Ananiev began his career at the Design Bureau in 1959 as a design engineer, group leader - since 1974 and as a leading designer - since 1996 (transferred due to age). He made a significant contribution to the design of the technological systems of the linear accelerator LUE-40, the IBR-30 Reactor and experimental physical facilities for IBR-30 and IBR-2. B. N. Ananiev is a co-author of two inventions, in 1969, he was awarded the 1st Prize of the Institute as a co-author of the paper "IBR-30-LUE-40". Since 2002, Boris Ananiev has taken part in the development of design documentation for the linear accelerator LUE-200 and has made a great contribution to the work for installation and commissioning of the IREN facility.
He was awarded the medal “Veteran of Labor”, the badge “Veteran of Nuclear Energy and Industry” and “Winner of the Socialist Competition 1974”.
Boris Ananiev was a friendly, sympathetic person and enjoyed the well-deserved respect of his colleagues and friends.
The laboratory staff, friends and colleagues express their condolences to the family and friends of Boris Ananiev.

Farewell to Boris Ananyev will take place on 01.05.2024, at the Medical Unit №9 morgue from 10 to 11 o’clock.
