FLNP seminar dedicated to the memory of F. L. Shapiro [Presentations]
On April 23, a laboratory seminar dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist F. L. Shapiro was held in the FLNP conference hall.
Valter Furman delivered a welcoming speech and a report on the life and work of Fyodor Shapiro. Then, FLNP Director Egor Lychagin and chairman of the jury for the F. L. Shapiro scholarship competition V. I. Furman presented diplomas to the scholarship recipients:
- A. V. Andreev (neutron spectroscopy);
- B. A. Bakirov (condensed matter physics);
- O. N. Lis (condensed matter physics);
- M. O. Petrova (methodological support for neutron physics experiments).
In conclusion, A. V. Andreev presented a report on the topic: “The ideas of F. L. Shapiro - past, present and future.”
