On September 17 and 19, 2026, the international mini-conference "Functional Superconducting, Magnetic, and Hybrid Materials"

On September 17 and 19, 2026, the international mini-conference "Functional Superconducting, Magnetic, and Hybrid Materials" was held at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow. It brought together researchers from HSE and research centers in Brazil. Participants discussed current results in the physics of superconductivity, magnetic and hybrid systems, quantum materials, and computer modeling.

At the conference, Vladimir Zhaketov also presented his paper, "Ferromagnetic-Superconducting Layered Fibonacci Quasicrystals and Heterostructures: Neutron-Optical Modeling and Experimental Studies."

Vladimir Zhaketov

"Participation in the conference was important and useful. It allowed us to discuss topics directly related to our research at FLNP - disordered systems and Fibonacci structures. Arkady Shanenko's paper was particularly valuable: it provided a meaningful theoretical framework for understanding the influence of disorder and quasi-periodicity on the properties of superconducting and hybrid materials. Andrey Krasavin's talk demonstrated the potential of research into disordered systems, Yutao Xing's talk explored modern approaches to superconductor electron microscopy, and Mauro Doria's talk explored the possibilities of enhancing superconductivity in layered structures. The conference brought together researchers from Brazil and JINR, opening up direct opportunities for joint projects. I would like to extend my special thanks to the organizers, Alexander Vagov and Arkady Shanenko, for the strong lineup of participants and the favorable atmosphere for discussion. We presented our results and outlined concrete steps for further collaboration, including on disordered systems and Fibonacci structures"
