"On 25 June, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Square named after Vladimir Ananiev, one of the fathers of the IBR-2 reactor, an honorary employee of JINR, was held at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. In honor of the outstanding engineer of the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics, a memorial plaque was placed at the entrance to the IBR-2 building."
