On August 11, 2026, members of the Russian national team, preparing for the International Engineering and Space Competition Global Future Space Scholars Meet, visited JINR, including FLNP. The visit to JINR was part of the team's preparation for the competition, which took place in Beijing from August 13 to 17.
- Alexander Nezvanov, Scientific Secretary of FLNP, conducted a guided tour of the IBR‑2 pulsed reactor, explaining its design and the research tasks carried out with its help.
- Inga Zinicovscaia, Head of the Sector, introduced the students to the REGATA facility and the capabilities of neutron activation analysis.
- Bulat Bakirov, Junior Researcher, demonstrated how neutron tomography allows non‑destructive imaging of objects — from archaeological artefacts to engineering structures.
Following the competition, the Russian team that attended the FLNP demonstrated a high level of preparation, winning the main cup and three prize‑winning awards.
Congratulations to the team members and wish success in future studies and new victories!
