We invite students, graduate students and young scientists under 39 to the XVI International School of Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics - II NCPM School on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics for Students and Young Scientists that will be held on 23 – 27 September at the Moscow State University Branch in Sarov (Nizhny Novgorod region) with the support of the Rosatom State Corporation, Lomonosov Moscow State University, RAS and RFNC-VNIIEF Institutes within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. At the NCPM School, leading scientists from research institutes and major Russian universities will give about 20 lectures on current issues in neutrino physics and related areas of high energy physics, astrophysics, gravitation and cosmology. Each participant of the School will have the opportunity to present the results of his or her research on School topics in the format of an oral report (in agreement with the Programme Committee of the School) and discuss it with leading and young researchers.
During the School, round tables will be held with open discussions on the development of fundamental ideas about the laws of the microworld, about the astrophysics of particles and the structure of the Universe, about current experiments with natural and artificial sources of neutrinos and about the physics of cosmic rays. The discussions will also include an overview of scientific results that will be presented at the XXXI International Conference on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics in Milan on 16 – 22 June, 2024.
The selected papers of the participants of the NCPM School will be included in a special collection of articles following the event. Review articles written by lecturers on the most relevant issues of the School will be published in a special issue of the journal “Bulletin of Moscow State University. Physics, astronomy".
