"Precision investigations of neutron decay, left-right asymmetric model of the weak interaction, CP violation and baryon asymmetry of the Universe"
Anatoly Serebrov (NRC KI - Petersburg Institute of Nuclear Physics, Gatchina)
The analysis of the latest most accurate experimental neutron decay data indicates the need to expand the Standard Model by introducing an impurity of the right vector boson WR. A left-right asymmetric model of the weak interaction is presented, in which the sign of the mixing angle of WR and WL changes to the opposite when moving from W- to W+. In this model, CP violation occurs due to the availability of an impurity in the right vector boson. Model parameter: the mixing angle ς=-(2.7±0.9)·10-3 is extracted from neutron decay - lifetime and decay asymmetries, as well as from the investigation of proton decay in nuclei, the so-called super-resolved 0+ – 0+ junctions. The mass estimate is WR:MWR=(340±60)GeV given by the relation from the parameter δ=(5.5±1.8)×10-2 that is the ratio of the squares of the mass states of vector bosons. It has been shown that within the framework of this model, the effects of CP violation in decays of K0-measons, D0-measons, B0-measons and B0S-measons can be successfully described. The process of generation of baryon and lepton asymmetry of the Universe in the process of hadronization of quark of gluon plasma has been studied. The possible increase of experimental accuracy in measuring neutron decay asymmetries to increase the level of reliability in substantiating the left-right asymmetric model of weak interaction has been observed.
