The seminar is intended to familiarize JINR staff with the capabilities of the Center for Research and Application of Boron Technologies (Onyedi Eylül Bandırma University) with the aim of developing international cooperation. The seminar will provide information on:

1. Bandirma Onyedi Eylül University (BANU).
2. Boron minerals and importance of boron for Türkiye and for Bandirma.
3. BANU Boron Technologies Research and Application Center (BANU-BORTAM).
4. Studies on Boron based materials (B4C, hBN, ZrB2, TiB2) for Nuclear applications.
5. Increasing interest in Boron based materials for Nuclear FUSION applications such as ITER and Proton-Boron applications.
6. Boron-saturated tungsten materials.
7. BNCT and PBCT in medical applications.
