The experimental research of angular correlations in the (n, γ) reaction aimed at estimating the partial neutron widths of low-energy p-wave resonances at the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics of JINR started more than 30 years ago at the IBR-30 reactor. The investigations of angular distributions of γ-quanta of radiation capture are still relevant for investigating the violation of temporal invariance and spatial parity in neutron-nuclear interactions.
In our research, we studied the angular anisotropy of the departure of γ-quanta in the 35Cl(n, γ)36Cl reaction near the 35Cl p-wave resonance at an energy of 398 eV. The partial neutron widths and have been obtained for total angular moments j = 1/2 and j = 3/2 of the incident neutron within the framework of the Sushkov-Flambaum formalism. The measurements have been carried out at the resonance neutron source IREN of FLNP JINR.
