"Observation of radiative neutron capture in a laser field. Proposal for an experiment on a beamline of the IREN facility"

An overview of theoretical and experimental works on the influence of the electric field of laser radiation on radiative neutron capture will be presented.
The feasibility of the experiment at the IREN facility will be concidered with a purpose to observe an amplification of p-wave neutron resonance due to capture of s-neutron into p-resonance in the presence of a laser field.
