From 7 to 14 June, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) invites everyone interested to the 15th International Scientific Alushta Conference.

The event is dedicated to major scientific results, large infrastructure projects, and development prospects of JINR, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.

The Alushta conference provides young scientists and specialists with the opportunity to learn more about research at the forefront of science, share the results of their work, and exchange ideas with colleagues. The programme includes lectures by leading JINR scientists and sectional talks by participants. In addition, the conference will host a round-table discussion with the Institute’s Directorate, where the participants can ask questions and share proposals concerning JINR’s infrastructure development, research processes, and social policy. 

The working languages of the conference are English and Russian.

Undergraduate students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists under 36 are welcome to join the conference with presentations. The participants will be selected by the Programme Committee based on submitted applications. The list of participants will be published on the conference website.

Registration fee:

• 18 000 RUB for JINR employees;
• 21 960 RUB for external participants.

Participants are only required to pay the registration fee; all other expenses are covered by the organizers.

Applications are submitted until 24 April (23:59 MSK) via the registration form. 

Please note that due to the air travel ban in the region hosting the conference, participants will be transferred to the venue by rail. Additional information about transfer will be posted later.
